In early 2019, Robert Hilton registered with the North Florida Inland LTR. His home had been deemed unliveable, and he had limited resources.
The LTR was able to connect Bob with Chipola Baptist Association, who provided a travel trailer as part of the pilot program between the Florida Dept. of Emergency Management and Calhoun and Jackson Counties. The LTR referred the case to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), who ultimately constructed a new home for Bob and his girls.
Additional support was provided by Innovative Charities of NWFL and the LTR.
